I want to share about complain letter
From the exercise 9, I choose (c). The situation is: "Your child comes home from school with a note informing you that the school is closing at the end of the year because of falling numbers. All parents are asked to write and complain to the Department of Education, so you do so."
This is my letter... ^^

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am one of parent whoes child is studying at school of Bina Bangsa Senior High School.
I wish to complain about the closing of the school. Yesterday my daughter went back to home and she brought a note that inform the school is closing at the end of the year. It makes us as parents feel shocked. I do not know, why did this happen? Is it because the number of student? What about our children's education? We have paid for the education of our children. Will our children be expelled from the school.
I hope you can provide the best solution to this problem for our children's education.
I appreciate your attention.
Yours faithfully,
Sarah Ludwidge
Just for suggestion to make it simpler maybe you can change "school of Bina Bangsa Senior High School." to "of the school" (Prgph 2-1st line) heheh
BalasHapusGood letter, Iik
BalasHapusHowever, I think I have some suggestions for you..
Firstly, your first sentence sounds that you are a parent who studied in BBHS. Meanwhile, you want to say that you're a parent whose child is studying at BBSHS.
I think you can change it becomes "I am one of the parent whose child is studying at BBSHS"
Then, you can simply say "I wish to complain about the closing of the school" (2nd prg).
Next, in my opinion, you can add "went" , so your sentence will be "Yesterday, my daughter went back..." (2nd prg).
Still in the same pargrph. Just adding "be", your sentence will be "Will our children be expelled from the school" (to make it passive)
Ah I think that's all. Pls CMIIW. Keep writing! Love ya!
Thank you guys ^^ I'll chek it
BalasHapusIik, I think the correct one is Yours faithfully, not Your faithfully, CMIIW :)
BalasHapusGood Letter II, I think after a question mark in "...happen?" you should use capital letter. So, it should be "Is" not "is". CMIIW.
